The Tridas Center for Child Development (“The Center”) understands that the information you provide to us is in many cases not only personal, but sensitive information. We are committed to ensuring that this information stays secure at all times. We provide this Privacy Policy to inform you of the process by which we obtain information and of our security practices. This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected from you via our website or from questionnaires that you complete on paper and we input into our software program. By using this website, you consent to our collection and use of information, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change this statement at any time. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post the changes on this page, so that you may always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it and the circumstances under which we disclose it. Any changes to our Privacy Policy will only affect information you provide after the changed policy becomes effective.

The Center uses the information we gather from you to produce the Educational Evaluation for your child. Patients, their teachers and families will be using a secure link to The Center’s website to provide the information required by our professional staff to accurately evaluate the needs of your child. We will disclose your Personal Information when you direct or give us permission to do so, when we are required by law to do so, or when we reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to protect The Center or you or third parties from a threat of imminent harm, such as through suspected fraudulent or criminal activities. We also may disclose your Personal Information when otherwise permitted by applicable privacy laws such as, for example, when disclosure is needed to enforce our rights arising out of any agreement, transaction or relationship with you.

We may collect the following types of Personal Information from you when you visit the website: e-mail address. The website also allows you to complete evaluative questionnaires regarding your child. Personal Information collection may take place through our Internet Web Site or through paper forms/applications provided to you by a staff member of The Tridas Center. Personal information is only shared with those individuals whose professional responsibilities require such information. Each of those individuals is required to abide by our Privacy Policy.

To measure our visitors' interest in and use of various areas of our website, we will rely upon aggregate information, which is information that does not identify you or your child, such as statistical and navigational information. With this aggregate information, we may undertake statistical and other summary analyses of our visitors' behavior and characteristics. In addition, we may share aggregate information concerning questionnaire responses with third parties for research purposes, for example, how many respondents complained of impulsive behavior.
